I haven’t published actively in a while, I know! Although I have been quite busy, I’ve noticed that I’m no longer keeping up as I used to, and it’s low-key irritating me. Two years ago, you may have noticed a slight change in my publishing style and rate, and I adapted to it. However, I was hoping to publish at least once a month still (I am hoping to do it more often, but that’s okay). Anyway, I thought I would publish this short, quick, and fun article sharing five random photos from my camera roll from the month of May and what these pictures make me feel.

For me, last month was extremely busy as I navigated some professional and personal changes. I spent it in three, almost four countries in a single month. Honestly, after two years of a lot of movement, I’ve come to love the continuous movement, even though it can be exhausting at times. Here we are in June, and I’m eager to travel again this month. At this point, I need one trip a month to feel like myself again. It feels strange to stay in the same place for over a month.

This image is from my transit in Istanbul airport, where I had a business trip, and on my way home, I had a layover for a few hours in Istanbul. I was tired of leaving the airport, but I was happy to do a little shopping there since my last vacation in Istanbul last year (I posted a vlog on my YouTube channel). I want to revisit Istanbul, hopefully soon. During this very moment when I took this picture, I felt happy to finally go home because physically, I was drained and I felt a little anxiety attack crippling through me but gladly I managed it. I distracted myself by drinking Turkish coffee with Saint Sebastian cheesecake, and the combo did not disappoint. I think my stress mainly came from the fact that I spent almost the whole day flying, and I had another flight early the next morning.

Rome, 2025

In this picture, I arrived at Rome Fiumicino Airport for the night before catching an early morning flight to Warsaw for a business trip. It was around midnight when I arrived in Rome, and I was so sleepy. I saw people sleeping in the airport and wondered where they were headed next. We are all on the move. At that moment, I looked at how empty the airport was and how packed and lively it would be in a few hours from that moment when I arrived early in the morning. I went home, changed my clothes from the trip before, and packed new ones for the next trip.

Dressed up in my favorite summer baby blue silky dress, I decided out of the blue that I wanted to visit a museum in Rome. I have been living between Paris and Rome for the past two years, and I am pleased to say that I am now familiar with both cities. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to visit as many museums as I had hoped to, but I want to change that now. I discovered that the work of the Italian photographer Franco Fontana is exhibited at the Museo dell’Ara Pacis, which I came across on my way along the Tiber River downtown.

Rome 2025

Weekends mean pancakes. At my family’s house, it is a must that we have pancakes every weekend. My mom has been making these for as long as I can remember. Even when I visited them often again after years of living in France, my mom still kept the tradition alive. In this picture, it was I who was making the pancakes, not my mom, since my parents are traveling and I am home with my two brothers till they return. I found myself keeping the tradition alive, waiting for the bubbles to appear so I could flip it to the other side.

This was somewhere in Warsaw, Poland. I visited Warsaw for the first time last April, and it was for a work-related trip. I didn’t expect to return to work the following month, but I’m glad I got the chance to do so. This was right after the sun came out, and I was in a lovely coffee shop I had discovered for a sweet treat during my lunch break before heading back to work. It was a Saturday, and I was working exceptionally that day. If you know, you know how much I love sweet treats, and getting one is my little tradition, gotta keep it alive anywhere I go.

I hope you, dear readers, enjoyed this brief yet enjoyable article. Please let me know which topics you would like to see covered on the blog; I’m happy to receive your suggestions.
